Fonts are the most important and necessary part of graphic designing. There are no limitations to its uses. Leaflet, banners, posters, brochures, magazine, etc are the most important print media that needs to be attractive in order to capture the attention of the readers that may become future clients for a company.


Fonts plays an important role here, they help a designer to portray the information in an attractive way via print media. Although there are different sorts of fonts used by many designers all over the world but, in this article I’ll tell you about the five mostly used fonts by the professionals that has changed the look of printed media in recent years.


Photos also help a print media to be attractive, as it has become quite for designers to retouch a photo easily via lightroom presets. Still, fonts are also enhancing the prints greatly. So, without further ado, let’s start!

TRAJAN

Trahan is the font that mostly got used by many different Hollywood movie posters because of its versatility and unique structure. This font was designed in the year 1989 by the designer Carol Twombly for adobe. And this font gets widely used by posters and banner designers who are definitely professionals.


Helvetica

This is undoubtedly the most heavily used fonts by graphic designers of this age. It is famous because of its heavy structure that helps to describe each character accurately. Logos, banners, labels, etc are some print media that require this font to be attractive.


CHLAKH

If you want to design irresistible logos and graphics then this font is the most suitable candidate for it. The professional designers who are vintage based use this font in their designs.


PEACE SANS

This is a bold kind of font with perfect curves and structure. It is designed to make the graphics look peaceful. It is well suited for specially logo designing.


TUESDAY NIGHT

This font is specially made for printed media such as invitations and party flyers. One of the most exceptional parts of this font is that it has thin characters and the first letter is always a bit larger than the other ones. So, it looks highly attractive.

A font helps a designer to highlight the aim of the company easily and it has a lot of power in driving customers towards itself. A better font means a greater conversion.
